    OLD BUSINESS

It was announced that the office move has still not been finalized.

    NEW BUSINESS

    None

President’s Paragraph - It has been a busy month for everyone. Summer is upon us and events for the coming months are being planned. The Chamber is promoting Grant by soliciting new businesses to locate to our fair town. Watch the newsletter in the months ahead for what we hope will be exciting news regarding these new businesses.

Golf Tournament - The golf tournament was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who contributed to making this one of our best tournaments ever. A special "thank you" to Joe Powell for coordinating this event. The event made ~$3,000. Also, thank you to all our sponsors and players without whom this event wouldn’t be possible.

Director’s Corner -Due to family obligations, I will have to curtail my involvement with the day to day activities at the Chamber. I plan to still perform my duties as Director, but will no longer be involved in the daily staffing of the office. I am leaving the office in the capable hands of our talented Ambassadors. . With this in mind, the Chamber Newsletter will be published quarterly, rather than monthly, effective with the 4Q03. In the future you will receive a newsletter at the beginning of each quarter. Any items that need to be brought to your attention during the interim between newsletters will be handled by a special mailing. I regret that these changes are necessary, but I will have to spend a lot of time out of town caring for my elderly parents and to me, family always comes first. We have a wonderful, dedicated Board of Directors, so I know my absence won’t be felt much.
